What do you see on a walk in the woods? How do you feel when you are outside in nature? Do you find yourself taking deeper breaths and finding a feeling of calm? Being mindful in nature is that exact experience of being present, awake, and peaceful amidst the quiet rhythm of nature.
Join Sharon Lohse, certified forest therapy guide, on a wander through Glen Foerd’s grounds. You will learn what a “sit spot” is and how to re-create it at your home. It is not a hike, rather a series of slow invitations to use your senses and experience wonder at all the “beings” that surround us.
Every walk concludes with a tea ceremony under the 100-year-old Magnolia tree.
