Knots are a big part of the outdoors. Setting up a tent, securing your gear, and tying a bandage for first aid are just a few of the reasons everyone should have some knot knowledge in their toolbox. Our staff will be teaching several interesting and useful knots.
We encourage visitors to share any knots they use day to day or in their adventures. After some knot practice, there will be an opportunity to create a knot board. Choose a few knots that best represent you. Add them to your board along with your own personal decorative touch. Rope, boards, and arts & crafts supplies will be provided.
General admission for this event is $5 per person. Please consider selecting a $10 or $15 donation ticket to further support our environmental programs.
