What makes a good photo? What can I do as a photographer to create better images? How do I capture the spirit, the feel of a place? These are some of the questions we’ll look at in a fun, (mostly) non-technical, and inspiring photo walk around the buildings and grounds of historic Glen Foerd, led by Philadelphia artist RA Friedman. All camera users and camera types are welcome including smartphones.
RA Friedman teaches beginning and advanced photography in the continuing ed division of The PA Academy of Fine Arts. For over twenty years he has photographed the Philadelphia landscape. In 2015 he co-authored a photo book that covered the four corners of the US. In 2019 he was awarded a residency and solo show at The Center For Art and History, Lewiston, Idaho.
