Join us for an exhibition of new works created in our Teen Arts program. This eight-week after-school program engages Philadelphia high school students in collaborative, hands-on art-making activities while incorporating history and the environment. Upon completion, each teen receives $250 and remains part of a community that encourages artmaking in life, college, and career.
We’ll have a screen printing station and information to share with teachers and students about how they can apply for the upcoming Spring 2024 session. Meet our museum educator, Jihan Thomas, who cultivates the curriculum for this exciting program at Glen Foerd.
The Main House will also be open for self-guided tours for any who wish to explore, and we invite local educators to learn more about the program and historic site during this event.
This event is open to walk-ups as well.
