What do time, temperature, and pressure have in common? They are the three elements needed to fuse plastic bags into a single fabric, as well as the conditions needed for sweet barley wort to ferment into carbonated beer. 

Stop by Glen Foerd on November 6 for a plastic fusion workshop & beer tasting with artist, Michael Konrad, in the basement Rathskellar. During this 3-hour drop-in workshop, Michael will teach visitors how to fuse plastic bags into a more durable and colorful fabric, which they will then fashion into personal flags to take home and create pennants to decorate the Rathskeller beer hall. Additionally, Michael will be sharing free pours of his homemade ale, which he designed for Glen Foerd’s Rathskeller and brewed on-site using local and historically significant ingredients.
