Our friends at Riverfront North have organized a nature walk around our grounds centering the bats on site! This evening at Glen Foerd watching and listening to bats will teach you about common bats of Philadelphia, life history, challenges they face, and what we can do to protect them.

Then we’ll use a special device that lets us listen in to their echolocation calls and identify which bats are flying overhead. This event is free and interested parties must pre-register due to COVID 19 participant limits. Limited spaces are available. Please email dianneloftis@glenfoerd.org to reserve a spot (first come, first served). All CDC recommendations will be followed.
