Enjoy a day of family fun at our annual RiverFest Celebration! There will be open boating on the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River. Come explore the water on one of Glen Foerd’s kayaks, canoes, or rowboats.

On land, you can enjoy some educational activities about bees, arts and crafts using upcycled and natural materials with Kids Art Shop, or play around in our Lily Pads playground while enjoying some hands-on activities. We are proud to host partner organizations with activities from Riverfront North, The Block Gives Back, Tacony Lab, and the Pennypack Environmental Center.

Shop wares from local artists, Hinch Worm Art, Meg Lemieur Art, and Taiku. Grab a bite to eat from The Walking Taco food truck or a sweet treat from Mister Softie. Bring a blanket or some chairs and enjoy the views of the Delaware River. Tour the house and investigate the grounds with our QR audio tour kiosks located throughout the park. Make sure to bring sunscreen, water, and anything else you might need to enjoy the outdoors!

From 12 pm to 2 pm check out a demonstration on how to make small kites inspired by the traditional kites of Vietnam and Afghanistan. There will be a limited number of kites for guests to decorate and fly.
